Dazzling Stars & Sparkles – Sabrina and Sebastian Wed at the Wedding Deck at the Top of Aspen Mountain
A wedding meant to be!
Romantic, passionate, outrageously fun and ambitious beyond your wildest imagination sum up this dynamic duo. They already have and will continue to make anything happen and in stylish fashion. This pair first met atop Mt. Kilimanjaro, reside in Paris and travels extensively. Sounds pretty stylish!
A wedding at The Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain lends itself to breathtaking beauty and grandeur. This is a favorite venue to photograph. The Little Nell Hotel and its staff catered to Sabrina’s last minute preps before she departed on the Silver Queen Gondola to the Wedding Deck. Sebastian soon followed with his family. The guests enjoyed an epically classic Colorado day where blue skies are the bluest. Shortly after the family photos were completed, all attending entered the reception, which was distinctively designed by The Aspen Branch and coordinated by Creative Weddings. The bride and groom triumphantly entered the party to greet and mingle. Dinner flowed into toasts while a gorgeous sunset made its statement. Sabrina, Sebastian and I slipped away to make good with the skies colors. Returning for a spin and a twist on the dance floor the couple’s evening glided away. Glittering sparklers held by admiring guests lightened the pathway for the newlywed’s grand departure and culmination to a delightful occasion. Thanks again to you both – it was a treat!

Splash Down – Megan and Jonathan Wed in Aspen, Colorado
A lot of variations occur on the actual wedding day but Megan and Jonathan’s offered a unique twist. This one will always bring back a smile. Our first meeting together at Starbuck’s gave me a special insight into this couple. Their embrace, fervent hugs and the gleam of excitement as they peered into each other’s eyes showed me that they were a great match. I enjoyed and marveled in their love as I do my own. They celebrated at an exclusive private Aspen home overlooking the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding mountains. A slight spattering of rain began at the ceremony and progressively increased throughout the day until it deluged at the reception. This never really seemed to faze anyone, especially the bride when she strolled down to the trampoline and sprang off into the pool with her wedding dress still on!!! I have photographed “trash the dress” sessions after wedding day, but never on the actual day – cool stuff. One of the flower girls then decided that if the bride could go into the pool fully dressed that she could do the same with her shoes and dress on also! You can only guess what tempo this set for the rest of the day. Rain never stopped anyone in Aspen before, no reason that it should do so on this grand day either.

Lisa & Matt’s Wedding – Aspen Mountain, Colorado
In the pre dawn hours Aspen Mountain became shrouded in mystical clouds. Sharing the first gondola mountain ride up with the bride and groom, we became engulfed within a fantasy created by the clouds. The sun burst it’s rays of grandeur upon us revealing the splendor of the day. Tearful eyes and smiles of joy surfaced during an emotional ceremony that was heightened by the pulsating clouds. The families reveled in touching ski poles together, creating a chapel of love as the excited newlyweds proceeded back down the aisle as one. Everyone cheered as Lisa and Matt prepared to snowboard and ski down the mountain in harmony! Lisa carved graceful turns with veil flowing and bouquet in hand as Matt aired a few jumps. These two know how to rip! Everyone gathered at the quintessential Little Nell Hotel for breakfast and a toast to Lisa and Matt.

M&M’s Wedding – Sky Hotel Aspen, CO
The extremely hip couple, Magda and Marcin, have a love so eminently hot that fire sparks would seem cool! Staged at Aspen, Colorado’s contemporary Sky Hotel, the atmosphere was adorned with lit candles, dramatic lighting and unique furnishings that set an ambiance of dynamic proportion for the exchange of vows and celebration. The first act drew nearby close friends and family from afar to share and bond with each other. Scene two returns M & M back to their native Poland for a celebration of much larger magnitude.
I coined these two M&M because of their continual playfulness, intoxicating charm and always being ready for “game on”. Try shaking and sampling a bag of M&M candies and notice what a sweet smile comes to your face from these brightly colored treats. This pair does just the same!

The Maroon Bells are Ringing
The spectacular Maroon Bells set for a wonderful backdrop to Kate and Jason’s autumn wedding. The warmth of the day graced their exchange of vows and allowed for the romance of their first dance. A delightful couple who was a pleasure sharing their love together.

Annie and Bill’s Wedding in Aspen, CO
What a kick… Annie & Bill’s affinity flows continual transcending through their affection and love. This pair is well suited for each other! Family, relatives and friends were all such a treat. This stellar day gathered at The Gant where we ventured over to the North Star Preserve. The river waters meandered by as the wedding party and I laughed and clicked away. Nuptials then took place in Aspen, Colorado’s historic Methodist Church. Pedalling from the ceremony in a bicycle built for four, Annie and Bill with their brothers, rallied by wheel, toasting and laughing their way to the reception site. Filtered sunlight peered its way upon the grounds at the Aspen Historical Society as guests mingled. Evenings glow gave way to silhouetted grandeur around the grounds at dusk as all had an eventful evening of dance and fun.
Thanks for a wonderful time and cheers to you both!

Jane and Dave Roberts Wedding in Snowmass Village, CO
An outside wedding on a sweet Colorado day united two fun loving people, Jane and Dave. Overcast day, sprinkles of snow and a slight chill in the air created a nice mood with plenty of warm moments. Bundled in blankets and nestled under heat lamps kept everyone close and cozy. Choice decorations accented the mood and tempo throughout the entire day. The ambiance of the Snowmass Club’s Black Saddle Bar & Grill was spectacular and enjoyed by the wedding guests. I felt an instant connection with everyone in how playful, fun and lively they were with the camera and their willingness to try just about anything. It was an incredible day, your family and friends are awesome and I thank you for the opportunity in capturing your wedding!
