Summer & Erik’s Autumn Wedding in Aspen, Colorado

Summer and Erik tie the knot as close friends and family shared in their Aspen autumn wedding in the golden covered mountains of Colorado…what can be sweeter?

Our day began capturing Summer and her girls “getting ready”, a stroll with Summer and Erik in the downtown resort of Aspen, Colorado and a beautiful drive to the ghost town of Ashcroft where both the ceremony and reception took place at the Pine Creek Cookhouse. It was such a delight photographing Summer and Erik exchange vows, the fun and excitement of the reception and entertaining the guests with our open space photo booth.

Thanks Summer and Erik in having us capture the memories of your day. You are a truly amazing couple and we enjoyed our time in getting to know you!

Elevation 10,800 ft. – A Rocky Mtn. High Wedding

Traveling from their home town of Potomac, Maryland, elevation 361 feet, to a private Colorado mountain retreat of 10,800 feet in elevation, Michele and Chip experienced a real Rocky Mountain high wedding. Wildflowers bursting with brilliant color, serene Aspen tree groves, old rustic pioneer buildings and mountain views everywhere you turn was the setting where Michele, Chip, their children and best friends came together to join this couple in marriage. Flip flops, hiking boots, snacking on potato chips to exploring the natural beauty of the environment this was an easy going, fun and relaxed day for everyone.

Aspen Mountain Wedding at The Little Nell – Aspen, Colorado

The majesty of the mountains, rays of the sun shining through the clouds with a little mix of rain made for a perfect setting as Melanie and David exchanged vows atop of Aspen Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. Blending our fresh and invigorating styles we thrived on the spontaneity of the day from capturing special candid moments to captivating portraits integrating the various moods of the environment before the rumble of the skies.
We relished in the strong bond of both Melanie and David’s families as they all shared a unique ingredient from reading in the wedding, toasting the newly weds, creating and designing the wedding cake and uniting two families together as a link to Melanie and David’s beginning and their future as husband and wife.
Congratulations Melanie and David and all are blessings for a future of happiness and good health!

A Pinch of Italy…

Deanette and Brett found a delightful respite of Italian flare nestled into the hillsides of Glenwood Springs, Colorado for their nuptial. This charming abode, with a Mount Sopris backdrop, was such a peaceful setting for their family and friends (I loved it too). Poised for a life full of merriment, affection and caring is definitely where this pair is headed! Experiencing their passion was so infectious. Add their crew of friends into the mix and way too much fun is bound to happen.
