Senior Class Portraits

We had the pleasure of getting to know and capture the Senior Class Portraits of Lane, Jessie, Will, Nelly, Kim and Melissa. Our time together centered around getting to know these young adults, their lives, interests, ambitions that created a more personal session photographing “who they are” their personality and flare!
This group of well rounded individuals represent a variety of schools in the Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado that include Aspen High School, Basalt High School and Colorado Rocky Mountain School. Their participation in their school band, choir, athletics and involvement in community organizations, such as Basalt Recreation and The Buddy Program have well prepared and have given them a foundation for the future endeavors in life.
Together, we created an amazing experience. We wish them the best of luck as they move to a new chapter in their lives…!

Two Stepp’n Texas Style in Snowmass Village, Colorado

Mix a pair of two entertaining sisters, their paired fiancee and boyfriend with a super mom and you get a collective sprinkling of really charismatic characters! Stir in a lot of laughs with way too much fun and a pinch of photo spice. Toss in a popcorn romp, a flop on the bed mixed in with a frolic in the snowy outdoors and it makes for a flavorful Texas style outing and an outrageously smooth flowing shoot. Eat it up and come back for seconds!

Sleigh Bells A Ringin’ in Aspen Colorado

Bells chiming, horse hoofs clippity-clopping along with a family full of merriment made for a delightful sleigh ride on this dreamy Colorado morning. Opening skies with dissipating clouds revealed shrouded mountain tops and the day’s splendor with it’s freshly fallen snow. Teresa and Steve along with their son Luciano were up and ready for their first Aspen Colorado vacation together. The morning’s cool air pinked everyone’s cheeks a bit. Soon, as with most youngsters, a nap was forthcoming from the days’ fresh air, movement and excitement. He quickly dozed into a deep slumber. Arms full, mom and dad enjoyed a peaceful moment together!

Eliza – Branching Out!

I especially enjoy bonding with the youth of our Roaring Fork Valley and senior portrait time really allows for that opportunity. When Eliza and I linked up together fall was on its final color fringes. We found the last remaining tree still clinging to its leaves and she poised herself effortlessly within its branches offering a varied sense of perspective. Some really kick-fun shots were captured. She rules with her vitality and grace.

Mindy and Coby marry in Redstone, Colorado

Mindy and Coby make a wonderful couple, full of vitality, fun and laughs. “The Brady Bunch” title  was coined for this evenly matched family, Coby with his three sons and Mindy adorned by her three girls. The children intertwine a charismatic blend of personalities making for a really neat family. Vows were exchanged at the historically quaint Redstone Inn nestled within the artisan community of Redstone, Colorado. Family and friends had the unique opportunity to inscribe their thoughtful words in Aspen log rounds engraved by a Dremel rotary tool. Additional highlights were the adventurous bubble gum blowing bride, a robust arrangement of flowers brought by the groom as a surprise, sunlight graced the mountain tops at days end, and little children sleeping soundly in their cribs as adults danced the night away.
