Nestled in the mountains of Aspen, Colorado the serene environment of the Aspen Meadows Resort, home to the Aspen Institute Campus, is where many individuals met to exchange ideas that matter for today and our future generations at the annual Aspen Ideas Festival. Teachers, artist, world leaders, writers, athletes, business people and others gathered to share BIG IDEAS. We had the great opportunity to capture and document this week long event that we wish to share…enjoy!

Aspen Food and Wine Classic

The Aspen Food and Wine Classic is without a doubt one of the premiere events in Aspen, Colorado and around the world that we have enjoyed photographing for select clients and experiencing in all that this illustrious event has to offer. This amazing event is such the collective of people, talent, edibles and liquid sensations beyond belief! The Grand Tastings treat everyone’s pallet to what is available both in food and libation. Main events, along with select and private occasions, garner Aspen as the perfect setting. The Aspen Chamber Resort Association along with Food & Wine Magazine has styled this spectacular event and continually keeps improving upon it each year since its inception in 1982.

We had the special opportunity of touring and photographing at the Aspen Food and Wine Classic with notable sponsors Bombay Sapphire, Belvedere Vodka and Veuve Clicquot. Roaming the Grand Tasting Tent, The Sky Hotel, St. Regis Aspen, Christian Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and numerous private parties in and around Aspen. Always have loved this scene – enjoy the images!

Kelly Tick’s Bat Mitzvah at the Aspen Chapel in Aspen Colorado

Dedication, determination, charm, sincerity, honesty and a true passion for her family and friends make for a very special and unique person in Kelly Tick. Her rite of age, religious responsibility and duty were experienced by all attending her Bat Mitzvah ceremony at the Aspen Chapel (aka Prince of Peace Chapel). A powerful springtime snow squall blanketed the Aspen, Colorado area as astonished guests departed the chapel. Everyone gingerly found their way to the party at Bumps Restaurant by the base of Buttermilk Mountain. Contrasting the snow, an island theme set the stage for a raging Aspen style party full of merriment, dancing, food and a variety of activities. Cheers to you Kelly for all your energies placed on attaining such a notable goal!

Dana’s birthday celebration brought family and close friends together for a festive evening. Snow laden trees and the cozy interior of their home lent a nice backdrop for their family portraits. Venturing through a snowy banked road led us to the quaint River Cabin at the Roaring Fork Club. Family and friends gathered for fun and merriment. Cheers to you Dana!
